  • May 21, 2026. Suzie Loison gave an oral presentation of her work entitled “Oral exposure to microplastics disrupts systemic and pulmonary immunity in adulthood and from the perinatal period onward." in the annual meeting of ARET, STFG and STCM in Amiens.
  • May 11, 2026. Our group welcomed Manelle Benchoubane, a second-year undergraduate student in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Health Products, and Chloé Devienne, a first-year student in a two-year vocational diploma program in Biotechnology Research and Production, for their internships.

  • December 23, 2025: Mathilde Body-Malapel and Madjid Djouina successfully obtained a funding from the PEPR Transcend-ID aiming to allow them to develop human skin, gut and lung precision cut slices as innovative models for research on chronic inflammatory diseases.
  • December 15, 2025: Mathilde Body-Malapel successfully obtained a funding from ITES for a project intitled “Study of the fate of ingested microplastic mixtures in the tissues of the gut-liver axis”.
  • November 25, 2025: Mathilde Body-Malapel contributed to the Public conference: Plastic: Pollution or Solution? on the sidelines of the 53rd National Symposium of the French Polymers Group.
  • August 14, 2025: Our new paper entitled “Ingestion of environmentally sourced polyvinyl chloride microplastic fragments increases colon inflammation and fibrosis in mice” is accepted for publication in Environmental Research
